I have a question for you guys.

I'm building link wheel and I have a problem with checking constantly which pages got indexed and which one didn't.

Is there any script available to check multiple addresses in one go?

Writing "site:www.mypage.com" times 100 is a bit time wasting.

If you have any solution please share it.

    Cheers

Scrapebox can do that for you but it's not free. In fact, it does a lot more. It's a must have if you breathe and live SEO. :)

    Home Page:
    use this in search engines.

    site:yoursite.com

in most cases, it will display the pages indexed by the search engines. If no pages are displayed, it simply means, none of your URL or web pages were indexed yet.

    Good luck!

Yes but if you have hundreds of pages to check, last thing is to do it manually.

I can't believe that no one owns the script for doing this stuff automatically. hmm

    Cheers

SEO Quake, Free addon (that I've been using forever) for firefox and IE, Can setup to check pretty much anything. Can even add other search engines other than the top 3.

If your doing alot of link building and constantly checking 1000's of sites you can setup the toolbar to give you information on request instead of automatically showing your PR, index, Backlinks ect. This will save you from temporarily being banned from checking these things.

Well, you really need to understand what I'm asking for :)

I don't need tool to check individually pages for rankings, indexing etc..
I need tool that I could paste like 100 links for my newly created pages into the tool and it will allow me to check time to time how many of those 100 pages was indexed already. Everything in one go.
I don't want to waste my time for doing this manually for each page.
And each page is on different domain, and Rank Checker is not allowing me to use long addresses like: http://www.address.com/something/something.html

Its a little weird that no one has this tool in theirs SEO factories.

Thanks a lot for answers anyway

    Cheers

    Hey Chriser,

I gotcha now :D I didn't know it but SEO quake does have this :). Simply Right Click on the main page of your browser and goto SEOquake>>Check/compare URLS.
Paste your list , press OK and then hit request. In the Setting of SeoQuake you can limit what info it brings up to you. So can have only indexed pages or can have the full works. Just be careful how many Google requests you make. Big G will block you for a couple of hours if you go Over The Top.

    Good Luck

    Thanks for all help.

    Cheers

SEO Quake is too much fat for me. There used to be a FF addon that was a small footprint and no matter what page appeared in the browser it checked to see if it was indexed and showed the results in the status. Ever since my FF had to be re-installed I have not been able to find it. It had an unusual name. Any ideas? And no Index was not in the name.

To be honest SeoQuake does that and more (god starting to sound like I'm selling the damn thing). If ya got FF configured right should load within minutes for 1000 URL's.

Glad you found the ideal option though.

It's like a mini xrumer. :) It was a very basic tool to spam blogs when it first launched. Now, it has included A LOT more features and updates are coming in almost every week.

    No No No No.

I do not need that incredible overhead and I don't want it in my SERPs. That just gets bogged down. This plugin only checked whatever page I was on. That was it. Plain and simple.

If I ever find it I will share it here and then you would see the benefit of it.

Besides, I cannot load SEP Quake with it corrupting my FF. That's why I lost the ability to move to the newest version. So I am STUCK at FF v2. It sucks!

I am well aware of "site:www.ursite.com".

Again, if I am want to see my 1,000s of indexed pages then that will work. However, if I am searching for a single page then that is a waste of my time. This was a very simple FF addon and when the page was sitting in the browser it showed in the status bar whether or not it was indexed. Very clean and very simple.

When I find it I will post it in here.
