How to check a domain to find out sandbox history before buying

    Hi,
    i am in a process of buying some used domains at cheap rate.. but i want to check this domains to find out if they are sandboxed or not . How to check them ?

    i have checked them in google by usesing "site:" command . some are showing result with the domain name some other not..

    pls post ideas on how to find out a sandboxed domain.

    Good Qusetion, I never thought about it. yesterday I bough 8 domain which got expired in the last one year. I never chcked this fact.

    I wouldn't use a site: command. Use info:domain.com.

    If nothing shows up with info: DO NOT buy the domain. And double check that what is returned with info: is the EXACT domain name, otherwise its a fake.

    Don't worry about it being sandboxed. Worry about whether or not google knows it exists and has some pages indexed.

    yes, make sure some pages are indexed before buying any aged domain or else they are useless...

    It is not really a problem if they have been in the box, as a new owner you can notify Google of this and they will reconsider indexing the site again.
