Hey all decided to take a break and contribute something that has helped me alot and I don't mind sharing it here because there's no way this method can be killed, so here ya go.

You can change your IP unlimited amount of times without proxies by spoofing your MAC address then resetting your cable or dsl modem.

What this does is if your MAC has been spoofed your ISP will issue you a totally new IP.

The main benefits of this are that it's not very hard (takes 1-2mins), is done completely with easy to use software (will provide links).

    It's FREE.

And when you use this method to get a new IP it will be very fast not like some proxies which are very slow.

Here's program I use to do this it normally costs a pretty penny but a little birdie told me you can get SMAC 2.7 here
    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?wmt45zlkxnl
    and the k3yg3n here

    Code:
    [URL]http://www.mediafire.com/?mydj020mjhi[/URL]
    Virustotal for k3yg3n
    Code:
    http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/c711d4072b0aab0acfce1923de5087d545b537770865a30047fc91d885722412-1268469260
    Virustotal for Installer
    Code:
    http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/7e6153ad8cdf5a93d87c78bf68416c6599db426d1e0234a5e9f7e8d60d4dab80-1266863247
Ok so load it up, select your network adapter from the list, click the "Random" button and it'll give you a random spoofed MAC. Now click Update, and after you do this reset your cable modem (i plug then unplug its easy).

When your cable modem comes back up which takes about 30 seconds or so you will have anew IP.

There are many uses for this and I wish there was away to incorporate this program with IMacros.

Well hope you enjoyed this tutorial and the tool. Please do NOT thank me for this thread!

*EDIT*Info for Vista/Windows 7 users (Sorry Macs are out of luck on this I guess.) Thanks grizzy

This also wont work if you are behind a router, or if your isp does not issue IP addresses dynamically, or a multitude of other factors that can effect how your ISP assigns an IP adddress. In fact, you can possible end up in your ISPs dreaded IP black hole and have your internetz shut off... Then you will have to call them up and explain to them that you are a newb and were messing with things that you shouldn't have been.

If you have no idea what you are doing or what kind of service you currently have, I would recommend you do a little research before trying to force your ISP to give you a new IP address. A good place to start is dslreports.com

Also, I'm sorry OP, but begging for thanks is pathetic. :thumbsdow

What I said was " Remember to hit THANK YOU for a brotha, since it doesn't cost you anything to hit a button"

how is this begging? Just curious. This method works for me and I have created many youtubes/facebook accounts with it and maybe it won't work for you but for some it will.

I use comcast ISP for reference. If you use comcast don't be afraid to try this.

I think what you meant to say was..
Ok, maybe a little harsh, but you don't need to remind people to thank you for your posts. If you post something good and don't cry for approval, don't worry, you will still get your precious little thanks. If you act like a thanks whore in your thread then people like me will be certain not to click that magic little button, and you will most likely get neg repped by a Jr. VIP who is sick of seeing this shit all the time. It's just that simple.

Just admit you were begging for thanks in bright red font, edit your post, and never do it again. That's all I ask :D

It works on XP. I don't have vista or 7 to test it one so it sucks to find out it doesn't work on those platforms.

Makes me not want to upgrade even more.

Anyways,I take back the "thanka brotha" speel. Please neg rep me for the post as that makes alot more sense.

lol I'm just bustin' your chops bro :) it's an honest mistake, lets move on..

If you guys are having trouble changing your mac address in Vista, and you dont mind getting your hands a little dirty, you can always do it via the registry. Check out
but just make sure you backup your registry before you muck around with it. This could also be automated..

You should be able to do this with win7 as well, but since it is a relatively new OS, there have been a lot of reported problems changing the MAC address due to a lack of proper driver support for various network adapters. We all know how quickly vendors like to respond to new Windows operating systems:rolleyes:

You could incorporate this technique into Imacros assuming your router has a webserver interface. Macros was built for it. Look up a program called 'macchanger' (original) it's included on backtrack4 and can run on windows. Or do it via the registry as Grizzy said.

I use hotspot shield personally. Free, and gives you a US IP (changes every time you connect). Works for scrapebox very well, not to mention other activities (applying to CPA networks, etc..) since I live in Thailand now.

nice! does macshift let you do the powercycle via button in software? SMAC doesn't,
