I'm trying to capture a whole BHW page as a screenshot, but only the part that appears in the screen could be captured.

How do i capture the whole page in a picture?
    Suggestions?

    Thanks

I had this very drama a few months ago - and fuck me if I can remember how I did it. I do remember it was pretty simple and obvious when I finlly worked it out. (after about 3 hours!)

Screen Capture there is many options (Whole page, Screen Region, Visible Content or Page Region). Picture can be saved or uploaded on imgur or picasa.
    Extension is crhome only.
For firefox you can use Screengrab addon.

    Dont like addons? http://capturefullpage.com/

Well you could make the screen smaller, ctrl + mousewheel back to make everything smaller and that will fit more into your screenshot. But if it is a reeeeally big page then that might not help either..

That is the best i can think off :) But since it is called a screen shot, i would think that you can only capture what is on the screen.. You could download the whole page and then open it up elsewhere without any need for internet connection, but i don't know if that is why you need this :)

I use annotate, a google chrome addon. Works like a charm. You can even edit the image, crop, blur, mask or enter text. The images can be stored online too. Amazing little tool!

    I remembered!!!

adjust your monitor settings so the long side is vertical rather than horizontal. (if your monitor supports this)

There is a plugin called Awesome Screenshot for both chrome and firefox. it is THE screenshot plugin for both firefox.... its the scrapebox of webpage screenshots lol
It allows you to capture whole page, or part of the page. Allows you to edit out any personal info, add text and other stuff.
