    Hello,

i have a .txt file containing a list with a lot of urls, nearly 1 million.

Now i want to mask and delete about 400k of them.

Is there any possibility to for example mask/delete lines from 1-400 000?

    Thanks in advance

Open the file in excel and delete from line 1-400,000 and then save back as .txt

Just realised excel won't work because it only has 65,000 lines.

You can do this in a unix based editor. Use something called "vim" its free.

Then when file is loaded do the following.

:1,400000 d (that will delete from line 1 to 400,000) then

:w newfile (w saves the file , newfile is the file name you have saved the remaing lines to).
