That's because you weren't fast enough to obtain the domain and therefore it has been auctioned. You shouldn't have let it expire before asking your friend to transfer it you. Now you have to participate in the auction and be the highest bidder to get it.

it's pending reactivation and you will have to pay more to get this domain.
just wait it to drop , i not think if any one will ever backorder this domain.

If you want to get a domain for cheap, don't share it on a public forum. Unless you're the seller.

I totally agree with lord1027. Others just might be interested in getting it and putting it in here, you just might raise its price. Well, the name seems like something that is not that difficult to monetize. However, it would be better if it is a .com domain and not a .net.

You will most likely have to bid on it at the domain aftermarket. This is why it's so hard to find good expired domains that are free to register - they all go to the aftermarket auction and all the good ones are picked up there.

If it's for bid, that mean somebody own it, there are plenty expired domain names you can find that are way better for 10 bucks

I have problems understanding these sort of questions. Cant you just try registering a domain you feel has expired and see what options you are given?
