Hi, whatever name that I choose in any domain register like name.com, godaddy, namecheap, I see all those domains are already acquired by Hugedomains .com and Brandroot .com. Every name that I think about after brainstorming for some time is on sale from Hugedomains.com and brandroot .com These guys, I am sure to have bought those by paying max $10 and maybe less and selling for $1k-$3k and ever more.

How in the hell do I get my hands on these domains?

I am getting a bit frustrated. I am at this since yesterday constantly brainstorming names and ultimately giving up on each name.

    Go to
    Code:
    https://www.brandroot.com/
    https://brandpa.com/
    https://www.hugedomains.com/
    https://www.brandbucket.com/
    https://www.brandaisy.com/

And start your brainstorming from there not from scratch. You'll get a great brandable domain name for sure...

Hmm. But do you think people actually buy from those sites or they buy from auctions?

Well $1-3k are peanuts money for most of the businesses in the US or Europe. Just think about it - minimum wage of say $810 per hour that's $1400-1600 for single month (20 days, 8 hours per day work). If you are giving $1600 per month for your the most unqualified employee each month, its sure as hell that you are going to pay $3k for good domain name that suits your business. Hugedomains aint stupid..

Yes and Hugedomains picks up a lot of these premium names from Godaddy expired. They have the money to outbid most people. You can search expired and pending delete names using expireddomains . net.

If you are going to try to buy from those sites like hugedomain, etc. You can negotiate with them instead of just hitting the buy it now button. I have heard of them dropping down quite a bit upon negotiation.

If you are going to find domains on expireddomains.net that is great, just be prepared to do a lot of footwork to make sure they are not spammed/junky domains and be prepared to lose many of them to the bigger domain scooping companies like namejet, huge domains, etc., as they use huge servers to get them as soon as thye become available. That's the big biz game in expired domains at he moment.

If you want to save yourself some heartache and wasted time - days/weeks not hours you could check with a few of the folks here on BHW that deal in expired domains. A good one that comes to mind right away is Nargil - very clean domains.

if you want a domain that someone else owns, you'll have to negotiate with them.

alternatively, try putting a spin on some of your ideas:

    - use the .net or .org (or even .co) instead of .com - you can always buy the .com later if you generate enough business
    - add some additional words to the domain, like "the" or "guide" or "expert"

HugeDomain wont do any type of negotiation. ı know it for sure.

If you share your business and what kind of name you would like to have i can spend some time for you to find a 10 dollar name you can register at godaddy.com
