Hi I have seen people buying old dropped domain and are ranking them .... I have seen 2,3 sites in my niche, no 1 and no 2 article are all old domain, with good backlinks , one of some radio fm site .... I am also thinking to do same, but how from where i can find this types of domains and what can be price ...

how i can come to know like domain is not panda, penguin affected like ... i myself has pr 4 , pr 5 + domains but that has been affected ranking no where so .... that what is main confusion or risk

You can monitor Go Daddy options for dropped domains. But you can also use services such as Dropday or RegistryCompass, which allow you to not just monitor Go Daddy auctions, but also other auction and domain sites such as NameJet, which captures domains that are going to drop soon. I would recommend RegisterCompass after this. I use the service regularly on a daily basis and I picked up some absolute killer domains for very cheap prices.

When it comes to knowing whether a site is Panda or Penguin affected, there are a number of things you can do:

1. You can do a site:query. Just add "site:" at the beginning of the url. When you do this, if the domain doesn't show up in Google results, you can know that it has been de-indexed by Google and Google has fallen out of love with it.
2. Another way to check is to search for the domain name itself, making sure you search for the full thread. Search for that on Google and if the site doesn't appear at the top of the results, i.e., another site appears instead right at the top, number 1, you can know that Google has fallen out of love with it as well.
3. Finally, a third way to check is to go to Ahrefs or another similar service and check to see what the anchor text distribution is. If the domain has a large percentage of similar anchor text of inbound link,s then that's a good warning sign that the domain may have been Penguin affected for over-optimization of anchor text.

Hope that helps! Cheers!

go to expireddomains.net
filter by age

I second this method.

Just got myself a niche related domain PR5, it didnt expire though, its from their auction.

I know people have scripts that check expireddomains.net every couple of seconds and snap up dropped domains. I wish i had this script. Maybe someone could build it for me? I want to buy up all the domains that come available in my niche :)

There is always some pro snapping them up literally minutes before i get my hand on them, clever monkeys!!!

Check domainka its a reputable site that sells good domains. our in good hands with them.

No i have tried and bought about 20/30 dropped domains, view weeks later all PR was gone and rankings dropped from page one to page 5, on all of the domain in the same time span. the sites are back in the rankings after a lot of SEO work and time... About the same efforts you need to do for a new domain.

For me it is 100% clear that at the moment a domain is dropped or expired Google is going to reset it and it has the same value as a new domain...

I would not touch a dropped or expired domain with a 10 feet pole, i'll pay some extra cash to be sure that the domain is not dropped...
