    Hi,

I have an old sitemap.xml file. I need to check what kind of redirects have been implemented, since all those URLs should now have a 301 redirect. Any way to do this?

    Thank you

if you have GWT acccount, simply submit the sitemap and wait some times to be processed and see if any errors are reported

Sorry, but that's not what I need. I just need to check whether all URLs contained in a sitemap are being redirected properly. I t doesn't mean that's the actual sitemap I want Google to index.

I have an old sitemap with almost 100k URLs. I need to check the server response for each one of those 100k, but that sitemap is not the one I'm currently using, so it makes no sense to send it to GWT. I need to do this to verify the work a contractor has done on one of my sites. He says all URLs have been verified and there's either a 301 or a 200 response code.

So far, I exported the list of URLs to Excel and plain text, got them into Xenu, but I don't get the response code. I guess Screaming Frog would do the job, but I don't have a license and don't plan on buying one since it's a one-time job.
