Searched but didn't find anything related to this. Mods, if this thread is not allowed, please delete it.

So my question is pretty self-explanatory. There are many reasons why people hate Fivver, especially, service providers. One reason why I don't want to be dependent on Fiverr is because I cannot change my PayPal there. If PayPal blocks/limits my account for any reason, my Fiverr income is gone. I'll have to create a new account with a new PayPal and all my ratings and levels will be gone. Currently, I'm a level 1 seller.

Is there any discreet way of getting your clients to contact you outside of Fiverr without Fiverr finding out about it? I once tried sending my e-mail to a client like this.. e m a i l i d [at] g m a i l dot c o m and it didn't even show that notification that it shows when you are trying to write any contact information but I was warned and that message never reached the client. I think sometimes they manually read the conversation as well.

I really want to build up a list of Fiverr clients outside of Fiverr so I don't have to worry about anything. Any possible way of doing it? Anyone done it? Would be really grateful if someone can share the trick.

Well, I don't know about that now! But 2-3 months back I used to do like this ....In the delivery report (a notepad file) i used add my email id ...saying "For bigger and customized orders contact me here : email id". I never had any problem with that....Hope this helps!

Also I have read that you can change the PayPal address when you contact the support team.

Then why is it highlighted that it cannot be changed on the page where you enter your PayPal? Weird.

Firstly you can contact them via the reports but zip them up for safety. Also response is a bit bad. So far I got 5-8 responses from over 70 orders that I tried with.

creat a youtube account and do a video on your gig, then on there state where to contact you outside of fiverr.
poss. offer 3 gigs for 2 outside fiverr as a month offer to incourage sales, but offer the same fiverr security ruling and TOS your status gives them in fiverr.

Use an image with text like: "For more advanced mind-blowing services of mine, don't hesitate to contact me at : your email ... "//you can use paint to put this up or you can re-direct them //again using an image// to a portfolio page of yours where they can contact you-that's another option!
And to the other thing:send this image with your report to your repeat buyers or the ones, that have bought from you a service for $10,15,25 .. you get the idea-it's very likely to close them later on for more services,as there are many, many cheap assholes on fiverr!
Personally,i don't use this site, but this is definitely the way to go ..

Not really. If you start getting repeat buyers then you know that the buyer has got the money to invest. Do you want me to tell you how I turned a $10 client into $200?

What I usually do is create a .txt file with the contact details then name it something close to the gig, like "lists.txt" "instructions.txt" or "delivery.txt" then I upload it to mediafire.com, to my own account so I can delete it later, it shall not contain the main delivery information. You'll be able to see how many have download the file and once you see someone downloaded it just delete it. If you get many customers then upload the file over and over.

Hiding your contact infor in a text file works really well. Sooner or later you are going to send this to a person who will tell fiverr you did it and then all of it is gone. though.

We want to minimize the risk right?

Competitors who want to harm you do it with multiple accounts, if they order multiple times with the same account and leave negative ratings then that won't work. They'll look dumb. That's why we pay attention to people who seem to be legitimate buyers and who order multiple times. They have the money and they are less likely to report you. It doesn't matter for them, they might even think fiverr is a hassle, so they'll be glad to talk to you via instant messengers. You also don't do it just to almost every single one who happens to get in contact with you.

Now if shit happens and your account gets banned then that's not much of a problem, you can still come back with new account under a proxy and a new PayPal ID (new email). Fiverr is a goldmine.
