I've been running a website for a while now, and it's not doing TOO bad (one sale; $17 in my pocket) but it could certainly be doing a lot better. I'm using Meathead1234's method of manually commenting on relevant news stories, forums, blog posts, etc. I think I need to build some web 2.0 and sub-blog kinda sites to get more link juice to the main site.

I'm just wondering though, what exactly is supposed to be on these web 2.0 sites? Spun versions of the main articles on my site? Spun content from elsewhere? I'm kinda lost here and could use some suggestions...

    Thanks!

Your best bet for your first layer of web2's is to make them yourself with quality content and then point web2 spun crap at them and other links. Make sure you use articles from somewhere other than your site. If you start spinning articles off your site, you are devaluing its uniqueness.

Im sure you will get many variations of what you should and shouldnt.

I for one use spunned original and non-original ( article directories) articles and to be honest i dont notice a difference as long as is related to my niche.

As for buffer sites i do use web2.0 and not only; from my point of view diversification is key.

    Just my 2 cents

Just use Spun articles which can pass copy scape :)
i do this and always get some good output :)
If you want to maintain them for a long time then just outsource some good articles and paste them in the blogs.

I typically try to use Social NEtworks + 2.0s + Article Directoreis + Press Releases + Bookmarks + High Quality Blog Comments + Forum Profs which I am involved on for 1st teir lol

But seriously.. when you think of 1st tier think of that as something that you manually have done.. set up a Squidoo, set up your Blogspot or [dot]wordpress[.com], or a good article that lnks to you etc..

2nd tier think Semi Automated, maybe throw Senuke at it, some high pr blogposts and comment, even more bookmarks and 2.0s , etc..

3rd tier think automated, maybe throw in some Auto Approve article directory links and your high OBL blog comments, mass forum profiles etc..

And so on and so on
