I have a site with about 300 posts with each post targeting a different keyword. I have done minimal backlinking to the homepage and category pages over the last one year (site is exactly one-year-old and getting about 1K Uniques per day).

    • What would be the ideal link building plan to the individual pages?
    • How many backlinks should I send to the pages and the frequency?
    • Should i send backlinks to all the pages over the next few months or just some pages?

I would appreciate your insight if you have ever ranked an authority site and done proper link building to the inner pages.
    Thanks in advance guys.

Sending backlinks to over 300 individual pages will be a mission. I would target the homepage only in this instance, the stronger your homepage get in authority, your inner pages will get massive boosts too...

I have the tools and articles for backlinking so that might not be a problem. My iner pages are ranking well and i just want to push them into page one from 2 and 3

I will still say to honestly focus on the homepage, I will build an authority links to the homepage, and see your inner pages shoot up in the process as well.

You can always give the inner pages a go too, thats why we all do our test... But my prefer option would be the homepage only.

I have a similar website, with 200 pages/articles targeting different keywords in the same niche. What works for me? I have links pointing to my homepage, but for articles I want to shoot for first page I build links separately to them targeting the article's keyword. 4-5 exact anchor match pbn/strong links to the inner page and various random anchor lower authority links do the trick for me

Instead of building links to individual posts, you can do silo structure with category pages and send links to those pages instead.

Make sure your site is structured correctly and build links to the silo pages.

I would also build links directly to the pages that can bring some good traffic.

I would start targeting some of the most important inner pages with backlinks. Start with a few pages then work your way up. It's important to have backlinks spread out across the site and not just hitting one page. Make it as natural as possible.
