How to bring traffic to a gaming blog?

Hi guys, I created a gaming blog for the game League of Legends.... I plan to make it the most complete blog out there, with info that surpasses even the wiki in terms of story... It will take about a month but I will do it as I`m really passionate about it ... The thing is, I don`t really know from where to bring traffic rather than fb, I get from fb arround 800 visits a day but I would want more. If you could organize your information by keyword, you could rank those keywords if they had a "head page" about that keyword that breaks it down and links to the rest of the site regarding that keyword (which links back to that "head page"). The obvious choice here is by champion.

you should make a channel on Youtube and upload LoL videos

1. Looking for gaming forums
2. Advertise your blog at FB through FB ads.
3. Search game blogs for guest posting + blog commenting

Reddit, Youtube, Google: "League of legends" forum, Google: "League of legends" blog, raptr and all those other wannabe gamer social networks. That's just of the top of my head.

I agree with jamb0ss. just create a youtube # and post reviews, gameplays, etc...

Reddit is great for gaming traffic if you have high quality content.

Also spend some money for FB ads or hire someone to do the PPC campaign for you if you're a beginner.

Other than those two methods, I wouldn't bother with many other methods. Forums do bring traffic, but if you're already getting 800 a day from FB, then there's no point in wasting time with forums.

Try to start channel on youtube and there dispose of game reviews, gameplays games you've played. Such channels are growing in popularity. It should also have an account on the website Twitch it's service who offer live stream of game that you play. It is irrelevant whether you have a blog about online game, single player or generally mmo games. Such youtube channel and twitch stream can only help.

Though you using FB the try Twitter & Yahoo Answer. Search Your niche question on yahoo then put your link there. You can try paid add on FB also Scrape your niche people id Create Custom Audience Ad. Then you will get More get targeted & GEO Located traffic.

Study you competitors and/or similar web-sites - they will give you a hint on how you can increase traffic.

You should try social media like Facebook,twitter,Google+ etc.

I love reddit, also stumbleupon is good traffic source too.

Other thing is find and join to any game forums out there and do guest post + comment at similar blog/sites.
