I want to be clear on something, let's say I'm running a dating site around "baking to strengthen a relationship".

Then I run a post called "Is your gooey cookie not enough? Try a BJ" and run through bj tips and tricks, using "naughty words" like monkey and kitty.
Then I follow up with a "Enough Spooning: Start forking with our best sex positions" post

Would google penalize/not rank my site/flag it ( do whatever it does )
because it has sexual connotation due to that/those post/s?

I'm afraid of running a dating site, talking about "grown-up" talk and then becoming a NSFW site/flagged as Adult.

Or should I just say "fuck" ( ..it's a pun. ) google and go through forums && trawl craigslist for dirty old men.

pls respond.

YUP! Don't invest too much time on trying to build brand loyalty. Bulk traffic is what you need and finding dirty old men on Craigslist is how you're going to get it. Your branding exercises and SEO won't be able to compete with the big boys that advertise on TV ect... The days of SEO + dating offers are gone in my opinions.

Who is your target demographic?

  • Is your target demographic lecherous old men? Advertise on classifieds (Backpage, Craigslist, etcetera)
  • Is your target demographic married women? Try SEO or guest blogging on related sites.
  • Is your target demographic homosexual men? LGBT Facebook pages and other social media sites might be a good option.

Well I appreciate what catches your attention, thanks for the replies.

Tbh, my demographic would actually be the invisible, desperate middle aged (26-40) women who sidestep life. Doing their best to hold onto what ever it is they are holding onto and skimming POF/Match the same way their spoon skims across their 5lb B&J ice cream tub. They're in deep.

Too soon?

The thread title didn't catch my attention, I've just been browsing and responding to most of the recent thread on this forum for the past 30 minutes. :D

Anyway, since you know who your target demographic is, go to where they are. I was about to suggest using PoF or Match to find them, although that might be getting into the e-whoring territory.

Yeah thanks, I'll consider all the venues to hit my girls up at. I'll check out some demographics tools.

But the actual question of the thread was if having posts on my website around "SEX" would keep it from showing up in search... but I suppose it wouldn't matter as SEO isn't even a viable option. Because I'm only a guru on BHW.

Yes, a website centred around sex can show up in the SERPs There are plenty of articles similar to the ones you describe that show up in the SERPs for search queries relating to sex (e.g., how to fuck your wife/husband).

And lastly, for CPA Networks,

This wouldn't be considered Adult or adult traffic right? Because it's not something like pronhub or reddittube. Just an article or referred from an article similar only about tips and not actually showing it.
Just so I'm clear. I was accepted to my first CPA network this morning.
