The idea behind my cloaking technique is to allow every IP to only get once redirected from the safe to the money site and will then be blacklisted in forever. I do block on GEO IP level. However, still smart people hereby referring mainly to my niche competitors, they may try to reverse engineer what I am doing, i.e. they could use a fresh permitted IP to see the redirection.

By chance I hit a website while I had my HMA (hide my ass) VPN client still on and I got following message:

"Due to abuse from trolls, only regular posting members can use anonymous proxy services."

Now I am wondering, how they could identify me using a foreign proxy and how to categorically block visit attempts from users who are trying to access my site?

Blacklisting such VPN providers as well as proxies etc really depends on data. Such data can either be collected, bought or researched. So, the site you were browsing simply has blacklisted the foreign IP or ISP you were browsing with.
