Hello, so I have finally started to build my email list and it is growing pretty fast (40-60 emails per day). it is not very well targeted list. Mostly adult males from various chat sites. I have offered them dating site in the process of getting their email, so I'm not looking for dating offers. Looking for something different and something what does not make people to unsubscribe from your list. Also I would like to know that when you have such low quality list with people who probably does not trust you much, what kind of stuff and how often to mail them. Once a week, twice a week? If anyone have any experience with similar list I would be very happy for any help. Thanks a lot.

So do you think I should stop building this list? It hurts my direct sells of CPA offers, but since everyone says "build email list" I started to build one. It is first time I try email marketing so I have no idea what to offer without causing damage to the list. I guess if I will offer them only good stuff, than they will start to trust, problem is that I have zero experience in email marketing and don't know what others offers to their lists, that is why I ask.

    first of all,

I am only 2 days new to email lists myself :)

but first thing, learn about WHAT is an email list, not just "take action" - so don't be reckless.

(no promotion, but) go to sendblaster.com
the give a free 100+ page pdf file with very good information on HOW TO run email business :)

Start there, learn from there & then work your way up.

One golden rule I learned: DO NOT SELL them things through the email, establish a good relationship instead, make them double opt in, send them a survey, or another "subscribe here" list, where you ask them for their interests, age, etc....
make sure u have a big database with many information about them , their name/ country and so on.

then work with somebody or build websites/offers/landing pages designed for a certain group, offer them, & treat them with RESPECT

don't be afraid of losing subscribers, keep sending quality

If you're just collecting emails you're doing it wrong.

First you should get a targeted list. Find out what they want and promote similar things they may be interested in. Do they want a date? Send dating offers and sex toys. If they're all over the board then its about useless.
Secondly, get as much information from them as possible. Use something like MaxMinds free GeoIP database to get their location. You can then use that information to send emails when they're more likely to be read. Names are good as well! If you can include the persons name in the email it helps avoid spam filters.
Third, gain trust. If you have a list and they dont trust you, you wont get shit for conversions. Send them free stuff and advice.
Fourth, track them as much as possible. Track opens, track clicks. If they go to your site, track them from that as well to the email.

Emails are useless. I can scrape hundreds of thousands per day. It's the data and trust that earns you the money.

Thanks a lot guys for the info. I thought that email marketing is something easy, just get emails and send them some good offers, but looks like it is more complicated. I'll try to learn something more about it, I have right now set up only one follow one message with one CB product which I think is quite good, so until I learn some more I will not send any new emails probably. How often do you think I should send my mails? I have really no idea.. once day or once a month.. just do not know.

Send it too often and they'll think your spamming. Send it too little and they'll think your a random spammer (they dont remember you.) Depending on your list demographics you could send one every day, every other day, 2 or 3 times a week or once a week. Usually aim for 1 every week.
