Is anyone here a successful Clickbank vendor? How did you do it?
How long does it take to create a product? How much money do you need for initial costs and how much can you expect to make?

From what I understand, you need:
-a quality product if you want to have low refunds
    -a converting sales page
    -recruit affiliates
    -a good sales funnel
    -build email lists
    -split test everything
    -outsource what you don't know
-75% commission and your product price should end in 7 such as $47.

    anything else?

Should you create an ebook or software? It seems like the big niches like money, health, and dating are saturated so should you go for another niche?

My biggest concern is how much can you make as a Clickbank vendor? Affiliates get 75%, you only get 25%. After Clickbank fees, business expenses, taxes, how much do you have left? There's also a good chance that you spend months creating a product but it doesn't sell for whatever reason.

If you are a successful Clickbank vendor, please share your experience.

One thing is not to over think it. Remember 80/20 rule, your product does not have to be perfect.

Make sure you talk with people (on forums, blogs, surveys) if they need your product. Create "buzz" from beginning and you will have great product launch.

CB is able to send shippable media. You can offer CD version of your book or software for extra money. Your refunds will decrease significantly.

You will find many posts here about choosing niche. What percentage you share with affiliates is up to you, I would go 50/50 for product priced 47 bucks.

Good idea is to create youtube channel if possible. From my experience, YT brings cheapest targeted and residual traffic.

    My 5 cents.

Just do it, most people have 100% failure rate is because they didn't take action. If you create a product, you will atleast get some sales if not alot. Just fill the market needs.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying but it's good to learn as much as possible to avoid costly mistakes.

To have success on clickbank you need high gravity, and to get that you need to get a boatload of affiliates on board, so spend your time targeting affiliates to promote your product...
