It seems to me that RipOffReport is .. unstoppable. I have been working on this for SOME TIME. My boss asked me to take care of this situation and I have tried quite a bit here is what I have done.
    1. Create web 2.0s
    2. Submission to directories
    3. Listings on yellowpages/manta/angieslist..
    4. Very small amount of spam links (like a total of 30)
    5. **Bought a BST here to get a press release syndicated to a lot of news sites and get in google news.**

Then I created a second website in the field and made it to be like a news source for the industry. There are 3 articles on it now and it's about 3 weeks old. I also created a linkedin group for this other website and am currently at 55 members. This website is getting 30 hits a day this week (which I don't feel is bad for this niche, but a realistic goal might be an average of 100 a day). I also made sure that the BSt I bought included links to this new site as well. I have mentioned our main website in the latest article. Here is what happens if you Google our company's name.

We come up first. Followed by a little prezi slideshow a coworker made. Then our RipOffReport and a little further down is our linkedin and then further more you will start to see us on manta.com and angieslist.com and so on.

What the hell am I doing wrong? I can't believe this isn't working. RipOffReport won't go down and my links refuse to go up. What is happening?

Create few facebook pages and youtube videos and rank it higher. Also, you need to concentrate more on web2.0's as well. Sites like blogspot, tumblr are ranking pretty well. Create more and more properties and increase its backlinks and social signals to get higher rank. It takes some time to hit it down. Everything is always a hit or miss, but achievable.

Check top 50 and look for authority sites (facebook, twitter, yelp, youtube etc). Export all of them and spam as much as possible (or choose one and spam, than check if its working for you). Such sites because of authority can handle shitload of spammy links and will not drop in rankings.

I have been taking all of the manta links, findthebusiness, all those other top web 2.0 submission sites that were showing up for our site. They have been running on GSA SER for about 4 solid days. 240 verified links, most are fairly alright (I had it set to not post to PR0 links, but do post to unknown. So some of the articles, press releases, and more are alright. Still having the same issue.

Actually on-top of that. I took a few of the better links (though I know some were no-follow) and put them in link collider to get a small amount of social signals to look natural but build it up.

I'm dealing with the same issue and you have to use the powerful social media profiles to push it down. Focus on those and hit em with link blasts and you'll be ok. Also as a last resort buy more domain names put a landing page on em and rank those as well. You can beat ripoff report, I pushed mine to page 2

Do a Google search on your competitors. See what properties come up in the first five pages for them. Emulate.

Ok, Check this out.. Are you ready?

First of all if your website is not trademarked then do it today. 2nd of all according to the law your name can not be used without permission and be profited from.. What's this mean to you?

Well since your trademark is your sitename.com and ripoff report has ads on the same page as your site name (they drive traffic to that page using your name) you can ask them to remove it or agree on compensation for using your trademark on their page. Now if they refuse you can literally sue them for making money from your site/trademark. In most cases a letter from an attorney costing around $90 will get your site off ripoff. If that does not scare the shit out of them it's time to sue for damages and w/e money they made while advertising your site on theirs.
