How to beat competitors online in SEO ?

My keywords are ranking well at the Google top 10 position but below to my competitors site, I have checked everything their backlinks, their content but unable to beat them online what I do to beat them online so that my keywords rank well above to my competitors.
You need good content and backlinks with proper researched keywords. Also, this make take some time or even years to outrank them depends on strenght of competition.

You can beat them with good content and good seo. It will take some time to learn all this, be patient.

Try to rank for keywords that they're not currently ranking for
Build some topical relevance first and then work your way up

Go for diversified link something like Perfectly Niche relevant sites, content must be well-written avoid low quality content writers, and after niche relevant links go with top tier sites which high 60+ DA and millions of traffic.

In my views ,You have to continue monitoring your competitors. Check it what they are doing. Use competitors analysis tool to identify what your competitors is doing.

You have to do everything which your competitors do it and also create new high quality backlinks which helps you to improve your ranking in google.

They are also looking for same answer. So you have to do something different. Like target such websites for backlinks which are not saturated.

Here's how I would beat my competitors.

First, I would get a long list of all my real competitors.

I'm talking about people who are in my sub niche.

I'm talking about websites that are thematically close to what I'm trying to do.

I will also filter my competitors based on how well they target my intended audience.

Once I'm sure that I have a legit list of my real competitors, I would then enter their domain names into paid SEO tools like Ahrefs and Semrush.

I name only these two tools, but you know that there's tons of other tools out there.

Using these tools, I will be able to find the keywords that my competitors are organically ranking for.

I can then slice and dice the data of these keywords.

I can filter keywords based on their keyword difficulty, their monthly search volume, their general intent (commercial vs transactional vs navigational), and most importantly, their niche relevance.

Once I've done all this filtering, I then have a remaining list of keywords that I will target.

These are keywords that are directly related to my niche that pull in some decent traffic and are easier to rank.

This is where the heavy work comes in because all the previous steps can be done using software.

For the next steps, you have to put in the work.

You have to roll up your sleeves and use your brain.

Enter these keywords into Google and be critical of the result.

Always place yourself in the shoes of the people who actually use these keywords day in and day out.

What are they looking for?

What kind of experience do they want to walk away with?

What are their expectations?

When you ask these and other related questions, you are really trying to get at the heart of the keyword: the intent behind them.

By this point, you should be able to get a rough idea of how to structure your content, what to talk about, how to talk to your audience, and what the purpose of the page is.

I will then go to the next step which requires some sort of copywriting.

There are many people who define copywriting as simply just writing stuff for websites.

That's too shallow.

I would rather focus on old school copywriting, we're talking about psychology here.

You have to remember that the most important commodity on the internet right now is the time of your audience.

They have so many things that they could be doing besides reading your stuff.

Reward them for their sacrifice of their personal time, no matter how short it is, by giving them the experience they're looking for.

And this is hard to do if you do not practice persuasive copywriting.

The good news is you don't have to spend a lot of money on this.

You can do this yourself, but be prepared to put in the time.

Also, be prepared to look at how people actually respond to your content and make the necessary tweaks.

If you were able to pull this off, you will not only beat your competitors, but your rankings will stay because your content is going to be quite different from the rest that's out there.

According to Google's latest helpful content update, you must try to work on the copy or content of your website. Remember, quality content that helps the user will surely rank in the long run. Don't ever try to push it.

Another thing to consider is the domain age of your competitors. This is also an important issue here. You won't rank for a keyword if you're new, but your competitors have been there for five years. (As you have said, your content and backlinks are okay.) Thanks.
