Think due to christmas , their feedback never operate .

Actually last time due to application problem chat with their CSO before , about their rules.

but not intensive enough because that time my main concern is account application.

last chat , happen to ask the CSO is it ok to post amazon affiliate link in forum?
she claim better don't ..is consider SPAM .( perhaps she is hinting it might get your account close )

She told me , must promote amazon , all those links from your websites , blogs .

    that all.

So my question here is ..

Any members here who have been amazon associates for years care to share
    points to take note?
in a short simple point how or what not to get your account close

and what form of promotion is allow beside posting affiliates links from your blog , websites

oh one point to add one ,
Heard , you must stated clearly ...
you as an amazon associate in your website and blog .

an example like this " xxx is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to....your websites ."

    is it correct?

I nearly miss this as someone happen to tell me must indicate this terms on your blog or website.

You must have disclaimer on all the sites you have amazon links on.

Also, if you post to forums, make sure you direct traffic to your sales page not directly to amazon. That way you can have the disclaimer, privacy policy and all the yadda yadda in that page before you send the visitor to amazon. Also, if you decide to switch monetizing method in the future, your site retains the visitors instead of just sending them directly to the sales page.

    1. Use a blog/website to promote amazon aff links.
    2. Drive traffic to your website so the visitors can buy and click the links from there.
    3. don't use URL Shortener as Smart SEO Said.
    4. Add a Privacy Policy to blog/website which state you are using amazon ads to earn aff commision.
    5. Don't use cloaking etc if you are new, and don't have the experience in Black Hat way.

They have items from Amazon and items from 3rd party. That's why it's 0. Also keep in mind that your account will get credited only after the products are shipped.

Other than this, beside the things people mentioned till now:

    a) if you are using contextual call to action links make sure you are not telling people false statements ( ex: click here to get a discounted coupon and after they click, there is no coupon)

    b) be very careful about their rules when it comes to customer testimonials. You can't simply copy-paste those.

You can post Affiliate links directly from Amazon to your facebook page via the share button at the top of the Amazon page. Just dont do it too often otherwise it just looks like spamming.
