As much as i know, it depends on youtube updates and current algorithm. Some people do say that right amount of likes, shares, subs, views are the biggest factor and i somehow agree to this point.
But there is no clearcut answer to this. If you want to get into trending genuinely then yes, FB Post boost, Reddit Votes, Youtube Adwords Views will definately get you in trending if it's a fresh new video.

There cant be an exact answer to this question as things will change as per Niche, difficulty and country
But best you can do is send HR views with likes, Social shares and some embeds and see if you can make into top spots.
