Let me start by saying that I understand the complications of noobesque diving into the pool of IM... it's a bit like trying to find the proverbial cheese in an underwater maze, the act of holding your breath until you gasp being a likening to the giving-up that almost feels inevitable... not to mention no one told you how to swim.

It's a double edged sword being an IM Noob. You don't know shit and nobody wants to spoon feed your ass.. the argument there is you're expected to research just like everyone else, nevermind the hiccuped relay of successful information and hoarded nuggets of simplistic truth by detached millionaires, who are honestly too busy to stoop to your level anyway.

Though, none of that is anyone's fault. The hellish grind that is almost designed to kill a young noob's spirit, is the explicitly plethoric supermass of overly saturated information, that basically pushes you into trial and error.

Remember what it's like to be a newbie. Finding quality information is like finding a needle in a haystack surrounded by a mountain of shit, and when you dig through the shitty SEO video courses, and wade through the sea of salesy ebooks, just to find your needle of truth, turns out you can't understand what the fuck it means.

This is where the tenacious succeed, and the slightly less tenacious fail.

You scour the internet for quality guides and how-tos, and most give up before they're able to piece the puzzles together to form a usable picture. Others throw in the towel half way through a project because of the headache and lack of follow-through.

We're talking about a life changing thing, IM, it's something that alters your life when you're successful.. the mountain climb deserves to be a bismal affair.

Addmittedly and embarrassingly enough this is me.. if I were in a relationship, I don't know if I would pursue IM again yo... it takes up so much time and I never get anywhere.

    So that's the realism.

However, I used to feel this way about jobs... long story short, I hit a point one day, almost an awakening, and said "I have got to get a job paying over $20/hr." Then I quickly got one and they're paying me $30/hr during training. Boom, done, simple.

It only came from waking up, and realizing my conditions were not acceptable, that I decided to focus up and get it done.

I said all that to say this; perseverance and follow-through combined with a perception change and focus are all you need.

Secondly, intelligence, creativity, and hardwork (without corner-cutting) are our supplements to success.

100k a year for me is not enough. I want more. I want to use my current employment to fund my IM until I finally make it, and I will make it.

So, to generate some starter karma for myself, I offer the only advice I can give.. stop wasting your time, do the research, formulate the plan, make sure it's quality, and put in the work.
