Longtime lurker. I had my blog hit by spam detection because I decided to use my keyword 15 times in said article. I've decided to start a new legit site and try to make money on ads instead, whilst trying to make a good hub for people that want to learn coding in gaming which is hard to find nowadays because of elitism. The niche is coding and modding, which means people will click on gaming ads I suppose. However I've done some research and realized that most similar sites, be it gaming or modding will lift paragraphs from other sites. For example: The green part is the ONLY manually written part, the other is just lifted straight from mojang (minecraft devs)'s blog. How do I do the same without getting penalized as my site will often have coding snippets and a few tutorial with steps 1-4 maybe just copied whilst I explain the rest in the articles.. I am not looking to steal content, just trying to understand how these people take several paragraphs without getting a ban from google. Or is this avoidable by not signing up with Google Webmasters? I mean there are several android APK/warez sites that just have RSS feeds copying posts from each other and those sites pop up in top 10. Or even straight rip off playstore. Any info from SEO or blackhatters would be appreciated as I am willing to make a legit site but don't want to be penalized when my actions are genuine.
