I have 4 accounts on my VPS IP address and I want to switch them to a proxy in case something happens to the VPS. These accounts are about 4 months old with an average of 10k followers. Are there any precautions to take when switching them over?

If the accs have been using the same ip for a prolong time, the chances of IG not resetting your password is slim when log in from a different one.

try with one accounts first (lowed follower count) and see how that goes, I mean since you only have 4 you can log into them from your phone probably won't get banned also!

Okay do these if you want to switch proxies between account.

    Step 1.
Login to your account VIA browser on your VPS
When the login success.. do a manual follow and like few pictures on browser. 1 follow and few likes are enough.

    Step 2.
Without logging out your account from the browser
assign your proxy on the browser while it still logged on....
(Check your IP to make sure its successfully connect to your desireable proxy)

    Step 3.
Do another few likes and 1 follow with the same browser you were previously logged in.

With these easy tricks its fool the system that you changed IP address (It happened a lot when you travelling to countries)
