How to attest infractions?

I have two infractions:


1. I said I'm American and I hate Communism and that offended someone on the thread who was Russian.

2. Posted my thread that I'm working for a Youtube Network and we are searching for high view channels (put it in Youtube section, got an infraction for not sticking it in JV thread) even though I posted a similar thread once before that, and a different mod specifically said to stick in in Youtube thread. Plus I can't post in JV thread yet. Also my topic had absolutely nothing to do with anything even remotely JV.


I know three strikes and you're out so just wondering if I can attest my infractions.

These are questions you shudnt be asking....if you have infractions for the stuff you have done you need to deal with them :)

Maybe you did not read the forum rulez..........political topics are not allowed on this forum...
 
Be aware that if you attest to said infractions, than you are affirming that they are indeed true and correct.

OP, There's usually 3 sides to every story. Yours, Theirs, and the Truth. The mods are usually reasonable and do a good job at nipping bad habits in the butt. If you don't feel you can talk to them about it, I'm sure you'd be able to go 1 step above them and ask for their opinion. Maybe they'd talk to the mod and if the mod feels like revoking your infraction then they would. I believe the ultimate decision does lie in the hands of the mod issuing the infraction though, so be sure to check your attitude.

I've learnt that you can't say anything here (even if it's the truth) that will disappoint someone even if just a little bit. When replying to some (most people are fine, but there are some people who just can't deal with any sort of negativity, even if it is warranted) people here, imagine that they are a small child, and then try and imagine if your comment will make them cry. If it does, don't post it. It's a shame there are people here who are so sensitive, but that's all part of having so many members I guess.
 
I too have an infraction going, that was a racist mark.
I just said a user in the thread that he is surely an Indian :p

But that is going to be removed soon
 
Is there a difference warnings and infractions? If you have 0 points, does that mean 0 infractions?

What does this mean? Infractions: 2/0 (0)

That makes no sense. If I'm trying to attest it, it's because it's crap.

Exact same thing I have. 0 points total. 2 private rule reminders.

Yeah man. Infractions are different from warnings. Warnings aren't that drastic. Infractions on the other hand...well you know. To see how many infractions you have, go to your profile and hit on the 'Infractions' tab which is located next to your 'Friends' tab. There you can see how many points you currently have. The ones given besides red is an infraction while the ones given besides yellow are just warnings.

@OP, Nada. Trust me. Its better to let the infractions expire than to request a reversal.

Best thing you can do is post a thread complaining about your infractions.
...wait, you did say you wanted a 3rd infraction didn't you?
 
Main question is, how many points you got ?

i have 4 infraction (3 with 0 points and one with 3 points)

only mods and affected user can view infraction. you have 0 points and let them expire , there is nothing to worry about them.

OP you are again doing wrong man ...

your best bet is to catch mod who gave you infraction .
 
I've had an infraction for something that is done 10 times a day on the forum.
I wrote a swear word in a post.
Best thing is to get over it, learn your lesson and move on.
Throwing your dummy out the pram and behaving like a spoiled child will only draw
attention to yourself.
 
It's 0 points. I didn't know that wasn't that big of a deal, and didn't want to get banned if I got one more. Mod who gave it to me I have messaged twice but no response. I'll just let it expire. Didn't know they expired before.
