hi, recently i zeroed on a reward program type of business idea based on some really interesting thing, i have project outline but nothing onboard, i just wanted to know how to pitch an investor for idea and what should not to be told to him, any one having any experiance dealing with any VC, i can open a jv request here, but still i am not sure how to keep things under my control once its shared with other.

First thing would get a business plan together. There are VA's that can write one for you out there.

as was said ...get your business plan prepared...i would advise u create it urself but if u cant make sure u stufy it very well and scrutinize it...question it and force urself to find answers to the questions you raise...give about 2 ppl that u trust to read it and get their feedback...not that u have to incorporate their feedback but liste to what they say and weight it with wat you already know...if what they say makes sense then u incorporate it....

after doing all this u aproach ur investor and ur confidence is gonna sell itself....thats what they want to see...confidence and ur financials....u need to make them feel like they are missing out if they dont invest in u...ppl do this in different ways but when u have so embodied ur idea ive learned that this comes out almost naturally... dont be in a hurry to pitch it..make sure u have thoroughly grasped ur biz idea and plan first...all the best

After you have your presentation ready just cold call some VC groups and see if you can get a call back to discuss your idea with them.
