How to advertise your channel? Get legit traffic

I have been part of the partnership program for a while and pretty much gave up with it a few months ago after making very little money once google took there cut. I have found a much more cost effective way which helps other youtubers aswell and I get the profit without a middleman (google). Win Win both ways.

I basically offer ad space on my video descriptions and annotations which receive over 250,000 views (1k+ per day) to you guys for $10 (one of payment).

Has anyone else experimented with this? Advertising other peoples material has worked out better for me than partnership ever did and people pay hundreds of dollars for fake views which in my opinion is crazy when I pump legit views and activity your way for a fraction of the price. There is most definitely a market.

I have a few channels as I like to have a lot of content to distribute ads over so theres never more than one ad on a vid. Im generally in the gaming and electronics niche though.
