I need to register on some forums without showing my real ip. I know about anonymous proxies, I know how to use them in firefox, but I have heard some proxies will leak your ip.
is there another level of protection that I can add so that even if the proxy leaks, my ip still doesn't show?

Use a VPN to protect all your internet conmection, then use the proxy in Firefox.

The speed won't be awesome, but it should be fine for navigate on a forum ;)

Yeah,
First use VPN, you can find solid one at hidemyass . com, subscription is below $100/year. They have servers around the world so pretty handy tool.

Then if you are into some really dodgy mood, use socks5(same as proxy just more reliable) instead of proxy, find reliable ones at anyproxy . net, subscription around $25/month, again world wide socks.

Behind these two TOGETHER you are 100% hidden :)

Use 'Unr3al' service instead. Or read one of my thread to get 'elite proxies' for FREE! :)

hey guys, is there a free vpn that I could use? I remember reading on here of a free vpn that had a bandwidth limit of like 100mb or something...i would have no problem with the limit because i am not downloading movies or anything of that nature. I dont want to pay because I am not going to be using the vpn all that often, very very occasionally.

Try these--yourprivateproxy.com, squidproxies.com, and anonymous-proxies.net. They all are very secured. Proxybonanza is also good, but it is more limited. So, it depends on your needs.
