Hopefully someone can help me out here with a suggestion.

I have about 3000 files that are .rar and .zip

I have one single other file that i need to add to each one of those .rar files.

Is there anyway I can do it so it will add that one file to every one of the .rar files besides dragging the single file into each one manually?

the rar files are all different names and sizes and stuff.

    Any suggestions much appreciated!

I figured out a way to do it. I made it so that the file i need to put into the other ones is the last file modified...then i sort the entire list by modified date...that way it keeps my file at the bottom the whole time...then i recorded a macro of my dragging and dropping into the one archive directly above...then looped the macro the number of times i needed. It does it in real time...so not super fast....but at least i can walk away and do other things while it does it!!
