I'm already their customer of $1 hosting and find that they are good in uptime and service. But today I found their announcement about unlimited web hosting for lifetime, for just $50 (which they call donation) for one time. And also a free domain registration for first year with id protection :D

I have seen free hosting providers but they are not worth trying because of their limitations and zero support. I have seen this type of offer for the first time.

What are your opinions on this? Should I try this? Its just $50 but benefits for life if they stay.

Oh, I want to try this! Apparently only 100 customers will be able to avail this offer.

If they charged less for more IP's it would be great for hosting PBN sites but their lowest price is $2.5/m for a new IP.

I don't remember from where I found them, but at that time they were offering $1 per month. But now it's $2.32 per month. I will ask them if it's still available. btw, lifetime package is worth trying I guess.

I don't know the company but in general keep in mind the following aspects when buying hosting:
    - Electricity bill for the company is not free
    - Technicians+sales+customer support is not free, they must pay the people working there
    - Profit has to be made, otherwise why have a company?
    - There is no such thing as unlimited resources(hard drives are limited, internet speed is limited, cpu power is limited, etc)

So always when seeing unlimited this, unlimited that and a little bit more unlimited, think about also reading the terms of service carefully!

In the case of this company, I assume they need some capital fast and that is why the have this offer. Possibly they trow all these clients that benefit from the offer on one server, overselling and when the clients complain they recommend an upgrade.

Yes, I also thought about expenses but they are just offering it for limited time (100 signups), so they can easily cover expenses from other regular customers.
I think their main reason behind this offer is raising quick capital or doing promotion.

    1) Only few companies have their own hardware, rest will just lease which can end up with ~$50/server that can hold hundreds of customers easy.
    2) You dont need people to work onsite, there are support services. You pay per server and the outsourced company will take care of support, protecting server and answering tickets. Its not that expensive.
    3) Once above 2 points are taken in to the equation and then $15 for a domain per year, you are actually paying setup fee and then around $1 per month for their hosting.

Regarding offer. Often small hosting companies when business is slow or they run in to financial issues, they will start such a deal. Most of them will be OK after getting some funds, but keep in mind some of them wont.

I have been with them for more than a year and have not faced any major issue, may be they still have very small base of customers that's why they can easily provide support and services. Maybe they are trying to promote their business and get more funds quickly to upgrade or something.

Remember, most of these companies come in, make money and leave or shut down taking all your money away, you cannot do anything about it. So if you see anything lifetime for a fixed price then stay away.

Yes, bought it few hours ago and every thing working fine currently. Account information was received instantly after paying. No restrictions on domains, databases, Disk-space and bandwidth. Support is also good, got replies within few hours. I think this deal is great. Free domain with id protection also.
And yes, domain registration is not instant. They handle domain registrations manually to avoid fraud.

I haven't looked into this at all yet, but sounds like they'll try to pull something like what webhostingbuzz does. If you want to transfer the domain name after a year, they make you pay the cost of the domain for the previous year as they manage the domain so you never truly have ownership of it. It's a difficult process to transfer out and if you keep your domain with them you pay out the wahoo.

I have checked the renewal price of domain, it's $14.95 per year. With unlimited lifetime hosting I think I will stay with them for a long time. They still have almost 42 accounts left.

    Are everything ok still now?
From 1/30/2016 there are still 42 account available. It's strange, no?

No, I think that offer is expired. Check the announcement page, http://www.webxen.com/brain/announcements.php?id=3 offer is changed, now $25 for 10 years. I have not used their hosting account too much, but service is not bad. I'm happy I availed this offer.
