how they are first placed on youtube ? quickly
videos that are recently uploaded have a 'new' tag, they always rank easily till it goes away.
They upload videos as unlisted. Then they buy views. Afterwards they make the video public so that it appears like it has just been posted. This makes it to rank faster.
using the above method will get competors to flag your video for popping up out of nowhere. I don't recomed doing it.
That's an interesting technique, thanks for sharing. I wonder if they'll close the loophole now it's been put out in the open.
As long as a video does on violate YouTube policies e.g. spam, deceptive content etc. it will NOT be taken down however many times it is flagged.
The NEW factor lasts for a relatively short time (2-3 days) when it comes to ranking. If your video lacks high quality retention views and time watched it will be quickly knocked out of the top spot
