How tedious are link pyramids?

    Hey guys,

So I'm about to get my first link pyramid going (yeah, I'm a little behind:D).

I just did a whole lot of reading about link pyramids, and am about to map out a structure.

As I said, I've never built one before. I want to have two levels (unless you guys tell me other guys). Level 1 will have 6 Web 2.0's, while Level 2 will have 10 Web 2.0's.

Also, I have 20 unique articles for my niche. Would it be smart to use these, or would it be a waste? I know unique content is usually better, but I see a lot of people just using spun versions in their link pyramids?

Based on experience, how tedious is this? I mean, how long is it going to take roughly?

Would I be better off just giving my articles to someone and having them build the link pyramid? If so, are there any specific services you guys recommend?

    Appreciate it.

Keep the unique articles for a website that you own. Everything else, spin it yourself or hire someone to spin it, or buy a link wheel service who will spin it as part of the service.

You can use the exact same spun article on every single web 2.0 property you make. And then if you want to, take that spun article and run it through articleranks.com or other blogging networks which accept spun articles. The only place to put original, well written articles on a website that you don't own is buildmyrank.com (the very best blogging network for great serp improvements, but more costly and involves a lot of work producing original articles).

For blogging networks to take your spin after you've used it for your web 2.0 properties -- I like articleranks.com, they've got a free trial and I see good serp improvements with them (I'm sure other services are great but I haven't used any others that accept spins).

After you have your link pyramid built, get a drip-feed link service to continually send backlinks to your pyramid. I'm sure they all work great, but the only one I've used is backblasts.com (that big banner on the left). I highly recommend them, great reports, reliable backlinking scheduled each day, consistently an extra 10% more than they say they'll deliver, extremely easy to use and you can build projects that pinpoint a few, or hundreds of URLs pretty easy.

Thanks for the detailed post. So shortly put:

(bottom) Scrapebox Links --> Xrumer Links --> Articles --> Crappy Web 2.0 --> Premium Web 2.0 --> Money Site (top)

    Does that look about right?

I'd prefer it more like this:

(bottom) Scrapebox Links --> Articles --> Crappy Web 2.0 --> Premium Web 2.0 + Xrumer Links --> Money Site (top)

They are tedious- I like to use Fiverr and services on BHW to build my linkpyramids. It makes it easy to build them and they arent expensive when you use multiple urls per order via the services.

How much do you usually end up paying in total by the end of the link pyramid (including article writing, etc.)?

And what do you mean by multiple urls? Multiple money sites?

So I just had the 2nd Tier (Crappier Web 2.0's) blasted with Article Submissions. Should I have the live articles blasted with Xrumer now?
