Hey,

recently i became a free man without a job, i'm devoting most of my time for myself and things i care about, therefore i prefer not to work "full time" at this time of life.
Any ideas how can i use my Web Developing skills to earn money on the side ?

*I don't want to do something that involve tricking others. (fake CPA / selling free products with shipping costs and Etc.),
i prefer it will be meaningful in some way (that subjective but you get my point)
~no judgment, just saying~

Thanks!

Work as a web dev for a company? If you are good you can probably get a remote job

isn't this field really saturated ?

if you know what you are doing nothing is saturated... build some reputation, it will be hard but eventually you will have your own clients...

Like everyone else...

Nope, i'm not looking for a lot of money, that i'll try to do in the near future :)
right now i have other things going on for me but the thought of not making any money is weird so i came here to hear suggestions

Freelancing is never saturated. Get into fiverr, upwork, but 10-15 reviews then you're good to go.

Upwork is the worst platform ever, especially if you are new, they ban you just like that. They just dont give a f about you. They will tell you, sorry you cant make more proposals your skills are not needed anymore, bye.

In doing so, should i go with a specific niche or general (i'll do everything you need kinda stuff) from your experience ?
*Can i buy reviews to speed up the initial process or this sites are smart and strict ?

honestly, you are right and i probably won't do anything right know (money wise) because going small feel stupid, but hearing others ideas won't hurt and may be used by me or someone else in the future.

Why don't you make some stuff and sell it to themeforest or codecanyon? Some of us will be interested to buy if the product is related to us.

sound interesting, can you give me one or two examples so i'll grasp what you're saying better

I made and still make a significant part of my *now* passive income from ThemeForest. Other than my own items I partnered with a few elite authors from 4,5 years ago, some even longer. Those items still bring me side cash. Some of those items are readily being used/sold here as 'nulled' versions lol.

However Envato has gone too big for its boots right now, and most of their new policies hurt new authors and even some old ones. That being said, if you are good with the design part and can create a product targetting a specific niche you can make a good income. Keep in mind, like any stock market, the more you put out, the more you make.

Where are you located if you don't mind saying? If you are good with design, I am always looking for designers to JV with for ThemeForest items.

Freelancing is always a good option. If you’re not interested in working regular hours, then I think this is the perfect solution for you. Basically, you get to choose which job you’ll take, and you can make your own working schedule. However, keep in mind that there are plenty of people in the world that are looking for freelancing opportunities, so it’s especially important to make a good impression on potential clients from the get-go.
