I just signed up with hostgator for their package that offers unlimited bandwidth and domains.
I used to operate a video website where I hosted comedy videos (very niche) but had to use youtube and other video hosting because I did not have unlimited bandwidth and monetize from adsense.
Now that I have this unlimited bandwidth, I was wondering what are some additional ways to monetize from this?
    Any suggestions are appreciated.:)

unlimited bandwidth is often used for web-proxy sites.
They can earn a good bit of money through advertisements and are not so hard to set up.

I don't understand the unlimited domain part.
You can order unlimited domains ?!;)
Sell com domains for 2$ each ;))

No he means that he can host unlimited domains, doesnt mean he doesnt have to pay for them. A lot of hosts offer "unlimited" domains, but they mean hosted not registration.

    aaaah ok that makes sense.
Sorry, I never purchased such packages. I always run servers by myself ;)

But the proxy part is still valid, I'd check the contract if proxies are allowed.
A web-proxy can eat MASSES of bandwidth AND cpu, perfect for a powerfull webserver that's not owned by yourself.

Oh and when it comes to hosting, unlimited almost always never means unlimited.

I'm not an expert in what to do with the domains, but unlimited bandwith would be great for a pay per install program. You could make loads of uploads and loads of money if you set it up right. You could also sell seedboxes.

I've had a pretty good experience with luxecash. Make sure you read up on the best ways to do it otherwise you won't be making close to what you could. It's kind of tricky staying unbanned from the torrent sites, but it is possible.

I second that. Had one hosting company did this to me before. But with hostgator, I don't know.

They have a limit on processes and other things. Im not amazingly techy in this area but Ive got 40 subdomains and 22 websites on my hosting and Im only running 2 processes at most times. They also add on some other thing that they limit as well.

Host Gator dont allow proxy sites also.

Hostgator is not going to allow you to do any PPI from their servers. If you want to do PPI find quality off shore hosting otherwise forget about it.

The unlimited band width is not really unlimited. This is a marketing tactic and once you start using decent amounts of band width, they will disable your account. They have other restrictions in place to limit the band width and resources you use on the server. Also you can not run Proxy Scripts / Anonymizers on any shared server.
