    Hello everyone,

I am building a link pyramid to my money site and am wondering how relevant the anchor texts on the second and third tier need to be to the money site.

    For example:

Money Site Keyword trying to rank- Bowling Balls

Anchor text linking to money site 1st tier(Web 2.0s)- Bowling Balls

Anchor text linking to 1st tier(web 2.0's, AMR, SB)- Does the anchor text here have to contain bowling balls or do bowling related terms work, ie- bowling tips, bowling shirt, i love bowling, the best bowling ball ever etc.

I think as long as the anchor text is somewhat relevant on the second tier is doesnt matter but I have have heard otherwise. Am i wrong in my thinking or does the second tier have to have "bowling ball" somewhere in it?

    thanks
