How Profitable would a PLR store/PLR membership site be?

Even though I've seen PLR on ebay sell for less than $1 for about 100 or articles, I've been planning up and building a PLR store. I have a really nice WP theme that's act as a storefront and a plug in that delivers digital content.

I was thinking that I could write content packs of 10 ~400 word articles and sell them for $10-15 bucks each. I'll be uploading about 10 or so fresh packs every week. Old packs can sell for about $5.00 and individuals for about .50.

I've seen PLR membership sites that charge about 60=90/month. I was a trial member to one that gave out some very, very good PLR (PDFs, Wallpapers, Articles, Worksheets and monthly webinars).

So, does anyone run one of these types of PLR businesses? Think there is a good market for them? I'm all for just trying it out, but at the same time that I'm writing for my store I could be writing for a client who I know will give me my payment.

Thanks in advance!

Dude, try using the PLR itself instead of selling it. Nobody seems to actually do that. I'm building a value-added website hosting site (a membership site) and using PLR/MRR material to create newsletters and videos that train members how to make money with the sites that they are paying me to host for them. I don't need to write much of anything. Will also be pushing products like SEnuke, Bookmarking Demon, etc. through the newsletter using ripped/respun sales copy straight from other sites that sell those products. So all the content is pre-written, from the website copy to the newsletters and autoresponder sales series. I'm running it all through contentboss and using it as is. Cranking out tons of material. Boring as hell. Obviously aimed at newbies who haven't seen this stuff before, and I will never mention what PLR/MRR products are because they might figure out that is what the service is built upon.

If your content is top quality then you can make some cash.

Just be sure to give good, quality content on hot niches. The more the content is useable the higher its value is.

For example, an article pack on "fat loss diets" can sell for lot higher than a pack on "how to mow lawns" since the fat loss niche is a hot niche with a lot of money to be made in it.

Also, making your articles keyword targeted helps a lot as well.

Sure it can be profitable if you can write some good wellwritten content.

Although I would try to recommend you finding your unique selling point.

PS.

I might be a future customer:)

you can also create wp sites with this content and selling them, it's work well.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry, would have replied sooner but I've been busy working and writing and such.

The wordpress idea is something I've been tossing around, too.
