I'm planning to take this IM business as serious as possible so I was curious...
How do people (and those close to you) see you as an internet marketer ?

Are you seen as the smart guy who knows everything about computers and makes money from home or the one who is to lazy(or not able) to get a "decent" 9-5 job ?
Or the one who's scamming people on the internet...? Which one ?

Either the genius or the scammer. Nobody thinks I'm lazy.

it depends on the country where you live and of course what your parents do for a living, if they did 9-5 jobs through their whole life, and they don't know too much about computers and internet, they can't really understand what you're doing, so they can easily say IM is not a job

but there's an interesting twist in this in my case, my father dunno shit about computers & IM, he says if i can make a living on the internet then do it why not, my grandparents say the same! :) and my mother who knows a bit about computers and internet as an every day internet user, social networker, she isn't too happy how i make money, she prefer to see me in a 9-5 job, my friends of course accept it, at least the ones who know what im doin :)
