How old does a domain have to be before you can blast it with 600k + links?

I am asking because there is a 6 year old domain (under new ownership with a new website as of this year) in my medium to high competition niche that has around 625k links blasting at the home page. 93% of the anchors are spread out between only 8 keywords. 2% is pointed at the main keyword, the rest is spread out between 8-9 misc keywords. The home page ranks #1 for the main keyword. This domain is not a buffer page, it is a real operating website.

So how old does a domain have to be before I can blast 600k links at it? (btw, I understand I can?t blast 600k links all at once, I plan to drip the links over a 2 month period)

Thanks guys for your time! :)

you should NEVER blast 600k bad links at a website, especially an old website just because it's more valuable. You won't need nearly that amount to rank a website as long as you're creating good links.Thats just my 2 cents.

If you value that site, build high quality links to it. Just because others may be getting away with link spam, does not mean that they will not be penalized eventually. Screw the whole drip feed over 2 months thing. Sure, it will look more natural I suppose, but 10,000 links a day is unrealistic for most sites. Sure, posts can go viral, but it is overkill. Build quality links, buy domains and build links to the site or something rather than a huge blast. That is just my opinion. If you do not care for the domain, blast away!

All i can see is 650k worthless backlinks and an easy way to get penalized even with the aged domain.

I will advice you separate the wheat from the chaff and use on the top PR sites for backlinks.

Just ensure you use quality content, diversify your anchor, high PR and relevance.
