Also just make sure all the backlinks coming from your site aren't just from social bookmarking sites, that could look a bit fishy sometimes to the Engines

    Use rss feeds.

Go to to yahoo pipes. convert your links to rss and then send the rss to agregators every 4 hours or every 6. (like feed burner)

Pinging the RSS feeds aggregator and social bookmarking your pages are completely different thing.

Firstly social bookmarking gives a link back to your site. Their effect is longer, as long as the social bookmarking site is receiving traffic and there is the potential to be featured by the site, bringing you tons of traffic like the infamous digg effect.

I have tried pinging RSS feeds aggregator each time I publish a blog post, but it is hard to find out how many people have since read your feed and it is also difficult to identify visitors who come to your site by following your feeds.

Lastly, alba56, you can ping feed aggregator each time you update your pages but you should not social bookmark each and every page of your site with only 1 account (of a single social bookmark brand). If you social bookmark that way, your account will be banned soon. Hence some blackhat webmaster try to do that with multiple social bookmark accounts and bribe others to help them too. This could be a wise route to take if you need quick traffic, otherwise the old slow and steady link building and traffic generating rules apply.
