How often google updates you on serps

Hi Guys,

I'm curious as to how often (roughly) google ranks sites in the SERPS, i know they update the PR every few months (if i remember correctly) how often should i ideally check if my backilnking and on page SEO is working?

Small updates and ranking changes are done everyday but big jumps and movements usually only happen once every couple months this is when there is a PR update. So checking if your SEO is working can be done every couple of days. You should notice a little movement when bot discover your backlinks and spiders visit your site.

If you use Cpanel with your hosting, check Awstats for visits by robots, particularly googlebot.
