When I'm at home or in my car, I always have music playing. It just seems incomplete without it. The only time I turn it off is if I'm writing an article (too distracting) or watching a video with sound (obviously) But sometimes I'm at a friend's house or in someone else's car, and they don't have any music on. One friend in particular, it seems like he only listens to music when he feels like hearing a certain song. He'll just listen to that one song, then turn it off when it's over. I understand that some people need silence to totally concentrate on something (and so do I, for certain tasks) but I don't get how someone can just sit around and relax in dead silence. I can't have an MP3 player at my 9-5 job, and I find myself whistling or singing out loud a lot. Luckily, I work in a really loud factory, so nobody else hears me I guess I'm just a very musical person. What about you guys and gals? Do you have to have music playing all the time?
