I made a simple test: grabbed a Clickbank product and advertised it on a related niche forum. 110k impressions 50 clicks and NO sales.

    What do you think

50 clicks is not enough data to tell whether or not your offer is converting or not. If you're still not getting any sales after 300 or so clicks, then you have an issue. On the other hand, I would look at possibly optimizing your advertisement to increase conversions and click-throughs and possibly your lander.

One word TARGETED, it don't matter how many impressions or clickthroughs you achieve, if the visitors are not TARGETED you will make NO sales.

Give up these silly methods, and try to offer products to an audience that they actually might need and be interested in.

Yep, when I mean related forum I really mean targeted visitors. That is why I thought I would have some sales.

From my experience with clickbank the following fundamentals must be in place to have high conversions.

    1. The keywords need to be buying keywords. If your keyword when typed into G00Gle does not have ads either on top or to the right you will not make a sale.

    2. The keywords need to be targeted to the offer

    3. If you are selling clickbank products make sure you are selling only clickbank. Do not clutter your pages with adsense, other offers, banners. Keep it simple. Lead them to the product by reviewing it for them, have testimonials of others that have used it. This is not a sales page but a place where they are going to get information about the product, your job is to convince the visitor that they have reached an authority site and that this is right for them.

    4. If you can't make a sale after 200 visitors I would say you need to optimize your page better. Good rule to follow. On average you need to expect to make a sale around 100 visitors. This might mean that sometimes you will get 150 or 80 but on average it should be better. Now some products you can really push this further to every 20 visitors and other might be every 150. Keep optimizing until you find the right formula for the particular product. Each product is different.

    Hope this helps...

He is posting sh1t on twitter 100 times a day, if you know twitter you know the first 4 or 5 clicks are from bots/spiders........
You have traffic and traffic

I think the CB product is not related enough. ;) I have done the same with some health CB products. No luck over here. Try a landing page with more from the "same" products (reviews or just screenshots with some info and a link).

My ad stayed in adwords about 2 hours for Chonic Commissions a product launched Monday and I got 21 clicks on the ad and 2 sales so I made $60 from that so it really works if you are nr 1 in serps for a good product

I tested an own program this week and since I don't have access to any english cpa network I used rapbank and clickbank products. Since Rapbank doesn't give any info about pageviews unless you actually sold something, I kicked rapbank out of the list. Within the last 4 days I tweeted to nearly 24.000 different twitterusers.
Since this was a first test I used some generic spun tweets like "Hi @User, you said "music making", thought this could be a helpful tool: www bit.ly/####" (now you know what _not_ converts)
Anyway, I had only ~1000 hops (visits on the clickbank productpage) and no sale.
I guess on twitter they just don't want to pay money?

Try rotating a very similar offer and see if you get any bites.

Before I could change the offers I actually sold my first clickbank product, woohoo! 45$!
But it was 1 order on 396 hops, so it's not that good, conversion-wise...

Great thread title, this is what you need to be doing with your CB, it's unique.
