$100 billion? Should be enuf i guess
Got my higher self and that's worth more than anything in this existence, if you believe in that sort of thing.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
what is this 'retire' thing you speak of ?! did you ever stop to think that for some people chasing money is a hobby ?
It's not about having enough... it's about having more than anyone else (this applies to everything, not just money)
$100 billions will be enough to retire for me ! I will live a normal life ! Grow vegetables, fish , drink beer , f*** b*****s , j**k off .... oh ! what a life
The best way to retire is to get 4 x residual monthly income of your current monthly expenditure. Then use it like this:
1x = monthly exp; try to cut down your exp. if possible.
1x = saving; so you can have enough liquidiity.
2x = investing; if possible invest in residual income asset.
1000k$ I can think to get Retirement. But I Love Working. So I might not Retire.
Once you earned 1000k$, you may work for me for free so I can get retire!
$400k to start my own offline business - As soon as save that much money, i will leave IM.
Like $50K, I would buy some small cabin near river and spend whole spring and summer there and build it as much self-sufficient as possible so I would not need to worry about almost any bills anymore. I would spend my time working out, swimming, drinking beer, fuc... girls and having small parties with my freinds. The rest of the year I would be like now in flat in center of city and would travel also. Well, I could not really never "retire" because I like IM and especially trying new methods. Now I work 12-15 hours a day, so I would say "to retire" would mean for me working only like 4 hours a day. I think if you are not really old like 80 or so, you need some kind of work to be happy, to much free time only leads to bad stuff.
All I would need is a House paid for by Cash and a few rental properties
so that I get solid income every month...
