Yeah, but it didn't sell.
25x multiplier is a joke. Sites rise and fall ten times over in two years. Maybe for the ultragullible
Of course it didn't, most sellers are dreaming about selling high, because of "potential", but that won't happen in most cases.
Potential is nothing in most cases, it's like an idea that was never implemented.
An idea that was not implemented is not worth anything IMO.
Even Justin Cooke, one of the empireflippers founder mentioned in one of their latest podcast, that some sellers try to sell high because of potential, but that is not how this works.
Websites are sold based on earnings. If you are lucky you will get 30-35x, if not so lucky then 20-25x.
Okay, will see in future how it went on.
If the person has good strategy n execute it he will definitely make good business.
I totally disagree with your statement, I have seen some people who bought sites which are not making any money, but they have seen the potential n bought the site and make it to the next level, do you know all the starter sites in Flippa doesn't make any money but still I see people bought it for more than $1000.
Why they buy for such huge amount they are not fools to invest on a site which is making nothing.
The fact those starter sites are selling on Flippa and not on better vetted platforms should tell you something.
I guess you can't see reality and nothing will change your mind.
Let us know how the flippa listing went and if you managed to sell for at least 25x.
May i ask what kind of issue you fixed and which tool you used?
I got a reply from motioninvest they are interested to buy the site for $1200, but now few of my keywords ranking in top 1 with featured snippet so i will not sell the site as of now at least till December because bigger sales days are coming.
That’s actually a nice price for a website that gets $30 a month.
They might see scaling opportunity within your site.
That's actually a good price in my opinion. They usually offer 25x(last 6-month average). If you know you can scale up the site easily, you may want to keep it. But if I were you, I'll sell at that price
I understand that's a good price to sell it off but I will keep it till January after that I will see whether to sell or improve the site.
That's another good step since earnings for November and December are likely to push up the price in January.
Motion Invest just offered $900 for my website after I declined their first offer of $450. I think I'm going to sell.
