How Much Would You Want to Be Paid to Get a Small Ad in Your eBay Auction? $3? $30?

This is my first post so greetings to all you Black Hatters!

I want to get some feel from you guys regarding pricing on a new affiliate widget my company is promoting.

The widget basically adds a small banner at the bottom of all your eBay auctions, which advertises the services of my company.

Those services are relevant to the eBay universe and are genuinely useful to buyers.

My task is to convince eBay users to install this widget. It's really easy to do, literally 3 clicks from my website and insert login/password.

Clearly, cash is a good incentive - and I'm trying to decide how to price this.

    So, here's my question.

What size cash incentive would motivate you to allow for a small, unobtrusive banner to be installed at the bottom of all your eBay auctions?

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.

    MR

For starters yes. More for simplicity and to gain momentum. But I guess as the program grows payments could be based on impressions or clicks.

First of all, welcome to BHW! :)

Though I'm not currently a seller on eBay, I think a fair price would be for you to just pay the auction fee(s) for the seller. It provides you with views and potential users/downloads and lets the seller list their item(s) for free.

Price really depends on the hits the listing is getting. No way to price it really since each listing is different.
