i think the reason why people are against of these links, because of the first one that you mentioned: ted.com. that is a red flag, because it does not get indexed.

People are against these links because they are trash, they aren't "guest posts" and should never be called that.
These are shitty profile links with no power. Stop looking at the DA of a website if the page you are posting on is a burried orphan page with no internal links. DA means nothing in this case. A strong link profile of a website only matters if they are sending pagerank to the page your link is on through an internal link structure.

I am not ashamed to admit that I was wrong and you guys were right. The links didn't index and it has already been 3 days. Luckily, i was able to claim a refund on whatever service I bought.
