Long story short I have started to come across some extra SEO leads, and Im not going to go say that "there are so many I can't handle them" but the reality is I don't do SEO myself, its something that Ive always outsourced. So maybe selling them means I can make more off the leads, then by turning them into clients, managing them, and on smaller margins since Im outsourcing the labor.

So a quick reminder this isn't a sales thread, Im asking what people think is a fair market price for leads who have requested an SEO audit and expressed interest In purchasing SEO services. Leads would include a name, phone, email, and website. Obviously they would be fresh, and exclusive.

Is this something people would be very interested in? What would a fair market price be?

Before everyone flames me, please realize I'm a very reputable member of this forum and have been here for 7 years. Everyone has their skill set, Im looking to make the most of what Im good at. Maybe it doesn't make sense to sell them, but just the same way I would split test LP's and traffic sources, Im interested in fleshing out the possibility of split testing the way I monetize leads. Thanks for all your help.

Ill hit you up so you have my Skype for the future, but I don't want to give people the idea I started this thread as we way to start selling them. Really just trying to get an idea of what they would be worth, if it makes sense for me to sell them instead of using them myself (timewise, and considering Im outsourcing SEO). Or maybe even it makes sense to JV with someone.

I appreciate your feedback man, Ill pm you so you have my info for the future!

I think a lot depends on the strength of the leads. Are these opt ins on a mailing list or people that have specifically requested SEO information directly from your company. If its the latter you are probably better off looking for a JV partner so you can warm up the leads and hand them over to your partner.

I get email leads in my industry from people who have requested specific information and yet the conversion rate is pretty low if I am coming at these leads cold or luke warm. When I work with the partner who harvested the leads as a direct contact then we close deals.

If you just wanted a price to offload the leads then there is going to be a big difference between people that own a small fishing website requesting information(for example)and a medium sized office supply company with multiple staff and premises. Although if the leads are if the latter quality and above you would be insane to be selling them.

I've seen them go for anywhere from 10.00 - 25.00 in a few different places. I've never bought them so I can't say that what I have seen is legit, rehashed, resold, exclusive or what as it has only been in passing.

I do know a guy that sells local SEO leads for 13.00 and supplies the same basic info you are able to garner but my conversation with him was just a general convo and not one that I found out too much as to them being exclusive.

Hopefully that gives you some sort of starting point in your search even though the info is rather limited.

That's what I offered someone else. I'm looking for someone going along the lines of a split that gives them 30 % to start and other royalty options with another project.

He is not selling the leads, and has stated that more than once above as it would be a TOS violation and he is not the kind of guy to bypass the forum rules.
