What's a normal charge for AdWords services?

One company I spoke to said 3-$500 a month for 3-$500 AdWords spend and he said they overlook everything to make sure we get a good ROI.

Is this too expensive? What would you recommend for doing AdWords?

    Thanks

    Are you in America?

If I'm reading your post correctly, they're charging you 1:1 for the amount of dollar you spend on Adwords? As in, you're spending $500 a month for a $500 adword campaign? That seems a bit steep. Most PPC companies I see do $300-$500 per month depending on the AdWords budget.

If I'm going to spend $2000 on adwords, I may pay $300 to the PPC company.
If I'm going to spend $4000 on adowrds, I may pay $400 to the PPC company.
    etc.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind when we have a follow up meeting. They were saying my AdWords budget should be $300-$500 a month while their fee is also somewhere in that range but I'll keep in mind to avoid that ratio per dollars spent with AdWords. That's partly why I was wondering what a normal fee is for it though.
