How much traffic should I be getting from these numbers of followers/likers?

I have a website that has been struggling with visitors as its social media accounts just keep on going. The thing is: I need visitors because as this is an informational site, not a sales sites, I cannot make a revenue unless there are hundreds and hundreds of visitors visiting the page, clicking ads, etc.

It is not stuck because the subject doesn't have a large audience, it does have a large audience.

This site was opened August 24th. (The first time some content was posted). Ever since its social media accounts have managed to get to the following numbers (as of today): 10k followers on Instagram, 2k likes on Facebook, and 3.2k followers on Twitter. These followers are real users and specially on Instagram they're also very engaging with the content posted. I get new followers/likers everyday, specially on Instagram where it grows about 200 followers a day.

The thing is the website has been averaging 100 unique visitors per day since mid-September, when these social accounts didn't even have half of the numbers they have now, and even as the numbers grow everyday, the site still averages the same amount of visitors.

What I might be doing wrong?

Too little Twitter/Facebook likes/followers? Instagram users engage but don't visit the pages?

Analyse your activity on social media to measure how many of them see your posts? How many are engaged in the conversation? Use Facebook Insights and Twitter short linking analytic services to get a clear background about your stats then apply necessary changes accordingly.
For example, if your CTR on Facebook is decreasing then you would try to change how titles, thumbnails and text appear so they appeal to your audience restoring the optimal CTR you had in the past and so on.

My biggest social media is Instagram, and I believe it's hard to make Instagrammers follow through links, as we can't even place links in pictures comments and posts it becomes a harder issue. I've also come to find out that even though I have by now 3.2k Twitter followers very little of them actually see the tweets for some unknown reason, which has led me to retweeting the same content a few times of the day to drive more traffic.

Am I being to unrealistic thinking I could actually be getting about 500 unique visitors a day with these social numbers while I'm getting only 1/5 of these?

Anyone else would have an opinion on these, I'm still kinda lost with these major failure in traffic driving while my social medias are active. I still haven't gotten my way into Tumblr, and I'm considering doing so, even though I may face the same fate (many followers and interactions yet little click through to actual money site).

Since I've written OP, my stats have grown to 11,2k Instagram followers, 3,4k Twitter followers and 2,1k Facebook likes.
