I have about 500 people viewing my website a day, the visitors are super geotargetted. On the right side I have a vertical banner ad that displays up to 5 ad, each ad appears for 5 seconds, then the next one appears.

How much should I charge the people PER WEEK?

I have a price in mind, but I don't want to say it LOL. I want someone to tell me what they think and I'll see if it matches up

Wouldn't you be better off promoting your own affiliate stuff (whatever it may be) rather than just selling ad banner space?

What kind of information does the site entail? What is the targeted audience?

Well it's really going to depend on a lot of factors, such as what niche your site is in, the demographics of your users, ect. If you aren't sure what to charge, you might try putting up a banner advertising space is available and to contact you. Then when they reply if they ask for your rate, tell them what you think. Chances are if it's too high they will tell you and you can negotiate for a rate you think is fair. But remember, you don't want to be too out of line, otherwise they may choose to just forget about advertising on your site.
